Introducing a new traveling agent - Camagu Ltd

Founder of Camagu Travels is Sibabalwenathi Sondlo, who was born in Komani - known as Queenstown and currently residing in Port Elizabeth. He began school close to the crested hills fronting the scene so dear in our land, at Queens College Boy's Primary School where he then moved to Queens College Boys' High School where he obtained his matric. After his matric he moved to Port Elizabeth where he enrolled at AFDA school of motion and obtained a higher certificate in film, television and entertainment production, currently he is working on achieving his Bachelors in Motion picture medium.

“We formally started with Camagu Travels in October 2019. What made me go into the tourism industry, was leaving to explore somewhere and come back with a experience and a good story to tell. My story and experience began three years ago in The Netherlands, where I got exposed to various things such as the world of backpacking and since then I've fallen in love with traveling".

Which angle are you introducing as Camagu Ltd. " As Camagu Travels we would like to promote and empower through tourism. Contribute to improving the well being of local communities by giving place to a meaningful connection between travelers and local communities. Lastly we would like to have a positive on the local economy and environment.

Do you think now rates in the tourism industry may go low to attract business again? "Domestic tourism can provide economic incentives for a place to preserve, maintain and regenerate the local history, infrastructure and environment. I do not think places of accommodation will be dropping their rates, because the Covid 19 pandemic has crippled the industry, however they might offer incentives like if you spend four nights the 5th one is free. Sites and parks may operate differently, as with the selected nature reserves and national parks which will have free entry from 28 September to the 04 October 2020".

Lastly - do not miss this 2021 Valentines retreat organised by Camagu Ltd.
