In the past very challenging and draining few months where most people lost jobs, salary cuts and fewer opportunities to chase and achieve due to the pandemic, it is very encouraging to see the number of startups that have managed to finally get off the ground to occupy the market and create job

opportunities even if it’s for fewer people, but the fact that bold moves were made has to be highlighted and congratulated. With all that being said we glad to announce that Nema naturals is also founded in 2020.

We spoke to Milisani Ngcizela the founder of Nema Naturals, who is originally from the dusty streets of Matatiele in the Eastern Cape and currently residing and running her business in Johannesburg. Nema naturals is a female black owned business that is passionate about the holistic health and natural nurturing of women. Their natural and wholesome products are kind to the body of female and are put together with love for women by women.

"I have always had passion for natural remedies and I believe nature heals. my own history with using natural products as a woman inspired me to go into the business. My passion is to help other women as well who could be experiencing what I experienced, and who want to try natural ways as an alternative to western medicine. Don’t get me wrong, they both great but at times it is important to try to heal through the natural ways with the plants that God gave us”.

"So Basically, our products are made to care and make women realise that their womb and sexual health are also very important, as important as keeping your other body parts healthy and eating healthy or exercising. One of the highly recommended way to use our product is YONI steaming which is also known as vaginal steaming, which helps balance hormones, irregular periods or absent periods”.

So what makes Nema naturals stand out? “Yes, there are many companies that do this business but what makes us unique is that we custom blend our herbs based on the problems a customer might have. We are all different and our issues are different too, therefore there is no one size fits all.

Your advice to our women out there about dreams? “What I can say to young women is that no dream is too small. What is important is to start. Get as much information about what you want to do and do something about it”.
