“This month, we continue celebrating the remarkable milestone of Ubomi Foundation SA. I am deeply grateful to have witnessed, firsthand, the growth and impact of the foundation, from my early days as a volunteer to now serving as Chief Executive Officer. This journey has been both humbling and empowering,” said Sinayo Vazi, recently announced as the new CEO of Ubomi Foundation SA.
Sinayo Vazi is a dynamic and accomplished leader with a strong academic and professional background. She holds a National Diploma and BTech in Government Studies and Politics (cum laude), and is currently pursuing an Honours Degree in Public Administration and Governance, along with a qualification from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).
“Our success has not happened overnight, it is the result of immense dedication, collaboration, and hard work. The founder of Ubomi Foundation SA laid a strong and visionary foundation, which continues to guide and inspire our work today,” Vazi added.

As the first female CEO of the foundation, Vazi says she is both honoured and excited to lead the organisation into a new chapter. Her vision is to elevate the foundation through strategic partnerships and collaborations across multiple sectors, supported by a credible and skilled Board of Advisors representing portfolios in Social and Community Support, Governance, Legal & Compliance, Development Hub, Economic Empowerment & Sustainability, and Disaster Management.
“As CEO, I officially welcome our Board of Directors and express my heartfelt gratitude for the trust placed in us. Together, we are committed to advancing Ubomi Foundation SA’s mission with integrity, excellence, and lasting impact,” she concluded.
