The founder of BodiedSA is Thozama Penelope Dube, who was born and raised in Ntuzuma, a township in Durban. She currently lives in KwaDukuza, in the northern part of KwaZulu-Natal. Thozama attended Stanger High School before enrolling at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where she graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Psychology and Community Development.
