Radioman - dropping matured sound for the streets.

Dj Sebz, real name Sebenzile Zalabe the radioman born in Port Elizabeth Soweto On Sea. Growing up his dad had a tavern so he was around music every day. His father was a collector of music, and his musical taste was rich with diversity. Sebz has always wanted to do something related to music growing up, from dancing on waya-waya stages to church choir.

But his real start in finding his touch was when he started writing poetry and mix that with rap performance. In the late 90’s he formed a group called Loxion Native, which was him, his brother and two friends. He started being a regular in attended events in PE and around the province, and his love for the arts was becoming stronger as he was also visiting the National Arts Festival every winter in Grahamstown. He started to do more activism and sent a proposal to Nkqubela fm for a Hip- Hop show. His radio career started there, he has assisted a lot of Hip Hop artists in the EC and even around the country.

He has always wanted a music career but started ghost writing for other artists and did artists management. Now after 15 years in the entertainment industry Dj Sebz continues to move mountains to collaborate with SA talent, a new single is out from his upcoming album “Frequency 101”. Last year he released a song with Zain SA called Abantu and in this 2020 his back with “Anyway”, a song that features King Melisizwe and Kay E.
