The media accreditation process for the fourth edition of the Betway SA20 is officially open. Applications can be submitted via the online portal between 1 October and 1 December 2025.
Season 4 of South Africa’s premier T20 league will debut in a new festive-season window, running from 26 December 2025, with the Final set for 25 January 2026 at Newlands, Cape Town.
Accreditation is open to written press, non-rights-holding photographers, as well as TV and radio broadcasters. This first application phase covers group-stage fixtures at Wanderers, Centurion, Kingsmead, St George’s Park, Boland Park, and Newlands. Accreditation for the Playoffs and Final will open once the group stage nears completion.
The deadline for applications is 17h00 on Monday, 1 December 2025. Applicants are required to upload the following supporting documents:
A recent colour headshot with a plain background (JPEG, 1–2MB).
An assignment/approval letter from your Editor or Commissioning Editor (PDF or JPEG).
A valid Passport, National ID, or Driver’s License.
Important Notes:
Non-rights holders will have access to pre- and post-match press conferences, training sessions, and practice days, but may not film or capture live match-day action.
All live match photography will be coordinated through a dedicated agency. Accredited photographers representing recognized media outlets will be permitted to capture match-day images for editorial use only, in addition to pre- and post-match media opportunities.
International journalists must ensure they obtain the necessary work visas prior to arrival.
Applicants must accept the Terms & Conditions provided on the portal.
SA20 reserves full discretion to approve or decline accreditation requests.
