Born in Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape, Luigi April is one of the South African gospel hip hop rap sensations who has recently released his new album "Hier kom n' ding" early this year. Luigi grew
up without a father and his mother couldn't support him because she was sick.
“When growing up I then got involved in gangsterism because I was seeking love and attention at that stage of my life and ended in court for stealing whereby my grandmother had to stand by me in
my mother's place. My grandmother called her Pastor brother to talk some sense into me because I also left school at that time, I was a nuisance. I started smoking at the age of sixteen, also started having sex and drinking alcohol. I then joined a band called Arcades, and I started drinking worse and having sex unprotected but God was good".
Out of all that challenging life Luigi came into his senses after he met Christ and he shared to us about his album and the other great work he does.

This album is a very big hit on SABC TV and various other media platforms. What makes this album different is that first of all that the music video was sponsored by Kyknet TV and shot by Lourens Human in Woodstock for Kyknet TV channels".
The bang is also that this artist also released an international sneaker brand with Alive Shoes and also an international clothing brand titled "#HKND - Hier kom n' ding ". For a man that comes from humble beginnings, this is a great elevation in his music career. He isn't just a rapper but also a KANNA AWARD winner of the best cast for musical theater production of the KKNK 2001. A man of many talents if I might add.

He has also currently his new music video on all music television and radio platforms. He has also released his new book titled "A walk with the Lord - My experience with my God and this book reveals all about him in his faith and also his upbringing with a brand new clothing called "A walk with the Lord".
