AAA passionate about Education.
The world of Education is changing and Covid – 19 is making us face that reality, whether we want to or not. Is it a reset, a global pandemic, a conspiracy, a new world order, hopefully time will tell, but it’s obvious that the face of Education will never be the same again.
Lyndsay Henderson (Founder/Managing Director of AAA Tutoring – Africa) was contacted during lock down by an old colleague from Moscow Michael Lang and his partner, who run two English Language Schools in the centre of Moscow.
They had made the decision to go online and with years of experience with teachers, South African teachers had been the “outliers in the teaching world” and with no restrictions on recruiting, Lyndsay was asked if she could recruit South African teachers for them and handle the HR side.
This started another journey, launching AAA Tutoring – Africa.
She recruited many amazing, qualified and passionate teachers, all disillusioned with the state of education in this country whom all have an in-depth understanding of educational change. These tutors form an integral part of AAA Tutoring’s online platform. Every Tutor has been personally interviewed and their skill sets matched with the relevant courses, and this will be a continually evolving platform as they progress.
Young learners and school readiness are one of their passions as they believe the younger a child is, the more eager they are to learn and the more responsive they are as their brains behave like sponges, soaking up knowledge. Their Young Learner programmes are designed by an extremely talented group of individuals and they offer their own researched and developed curricula with over 20 years of experience teaching Young Learners. This is a unique programme to give youngsters a head start in life.
Society is rapidly changing, and they subscribe to the principle that the educational needs will also continue to change and their focus is on flex appeal, hence they do not only offer Government Curricula subjects, but also courses which will excite Learners and help develop skills for both schooling and extra mural activities.
The Management Team at AAA Tutoring – Africa are all based in Hermanus and comprise of Lyndsay Henderson, Founder and Managing Director; Geoff Elske, Director, Technical and Strategic Planning; Charlise Elske, Director, Marketing and Content.
As likeminded individuals they have come together to assist with the upliftment of learners across Africa and essentially by “Influencing Lives through Learning”. Taking an active interest in the young people and students they work with, supporting their academic and skills growth whilst also helping them advance as a people.
The AAA Team are passionate about uplifting communities through Education, their vision is to expand their Online Tutoring platform across Africa, giving not only learners but also less privileged learners the opportunity to be taught by their knowledgeable Team of Online Tutors.
